Happy Hour

The traditional happy hour means going to a local bar with friends and having some delicious drinks, laughing, having a good time, and connecting with our friends. However, for the past few weeks there have been no happy hours – at bars at least. For the first time for many, happy hour has taken place via Zoom or FaceTime or whatever other video outlet of your choosing. Why have I never tried this before? Adventure

After driving the same way to work for last 15 years, I realized there was sign for the airport as I exited. It’s always been there; I just didn’t see it. As I turned on my blinker to turn left to go to my office, I thought, “what if I turned right and went to the airport?” Where would I go? Mornings

Joy comes in the mornings. Each morning is the start of a new day, a day filled with new possibilities. I am a morning person; ask anyone who knows me. I wake up 30 minutes earlier than I have to each day so I can have some time for me – time to have a cup of coffee, time to read my devotional, time to say my prayers, and time to plan my day.
