Problems – we all have them. Little or big, everything is figure-out-able. Just take a breath, and sooner or later, the solution will come to you.
If you find yourself focusing on the problems, you should start focusing on the solutions.
Here are some solutions that may help.
Plan your day the night before. It is no different than setting out your clothes the night before so you don’t have to pick what you are wearing to school or work. Plan your day the night before. Set out everything you will need for the morning. Mornings go much smoother when everything is laid out.
Create a morning routine. Wake up a little earlier. Take some time for yourself. Turn on some music. If you like to exercise, plan time to do it first thing so you have no excuses later. Make sure your list of tasks for the day is complete so you can start marking things off.
Start with the simple tasks. If it will take 5 minutes, just do it. Make that quick call or respond to that email. Mark those things off the list first. It will make you feel accomplished before tackling the bigger things of the day.
Follow the 80/20 Rule. Invest most of your energy and time on the specific tasks that create the biggest impact and will maximize your productivity. 80% of outcomes result from 20% of all causes. Focus on the outcome and the goal.
Define the problem. Think of solutions that might work. Evaluate all solutions. Execute a plan to solve it.
Get enough rest. Without enough rest, you cannot enjoy or improve your life. Problems always seem bigger when you are tired. Getting enough rest will give you the energy you need to get everything done. Not enough rest can make you cranky. No one wants to be around or help a cranky person. Let your body and mind rest so you can tackle your day and any problems that may lie ahead.
Every problem has a solution. It is all about perspective and how you choose to handle things. Never forget you are in control and can handle anything.
