Sweat it out.

It’s the answer for a stressful day, how to feel healthy, and what will make you feel good. My world involves a lot of stress, frustration, and busyness. Getting to the gym or doing things outside or around the house help me deal with those things day to day. That feeling of sweat on the back of your neck and your blood flowing is amazing. It allows me to stop focusing on the things stressing me out and turns the attention to my body and mind.

Over the next few weeks while there will be no sporting events to go to or watch on television, while the world is dealing with the chaos, it is the perfect time to take care of yourself – sweat it out. Get to the gym. Get outside. Do some projects around your house. Take this opportunity to focus on your health – physical and mental. Just because big gatherings are on hold for a few weeks doesn’t mean we stop living and taking care of ourselves and our business. The best place to start is a good workout or a good project.

Focus your energy on doing something good for your body and your self as a whole. This is a good time to start the routine. Make a kick ass playlist. Take a walk. Go to the gym. Go to a yoga or Pilates class. Run. Enjoy the sunshine. Just do something. It will amaze you how much better you will feel; how much more energy you will have. Find joy in the sweat.
